Sarah Germini is a Private Client Advisor for Key for Doctors with more than 28 years of experience in financial services, including 24 years with KeyBank. Throughout her career, Sarah has built a reputation as a trusted partner who helps clients navigate complex financial decisions with confidence and peace of mind. Her broad experience across banking and wealth management helps her develop personalized solutions and efficiently remove obstacles for clients at every stage of their financial journey.

Sarah holds multiple securities licenses and has earned the Wealth Management Certified Professional (WMCP) designation. Based in Connecticut, Sarah enjoys spending time with her three sons, cheering them on at their sporting events, reading, relaxing at the beach, and enjoying time with her French bulldog, Vivian.

Richard Failoo-Velasquez is a Doctor Relationship Banker for Key for Doctors with five years of banking experience, including the last two years at KeyBank. Richard is dedicated to helping healthcare professionals navigate important financial decisions, drawing from both his banking expertise and personal experience supporting his wife through her healthcare career. He is known for building strong client relationships and providing thoughtful guidance through every stage of life, from medical school through practice and beyond.

Richard holds an Associate Degree in Business Administration and maintains FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 licenses as well as a Life and Health Insurance Producer License. Originally from Peru and now calling Connecticut home, Richard enjoys cooking, exploring different cultures, studying history, and spending time with his wife, two daughters, and their cat.

Robert “Bobby” Scalesse is a Doctor Relationship Banker on the Key for Doctors team. With over 28 years of experience in banking and financial services — including nearly 12 years with KeyBank — Bobby has held numerous roles across retail banking as a branch manager and financial specialist, giving him a deep understanding of what doctors need at every stage of their careers. He is dedicated to being a trusted financial resource, building lasting relationships that let doctors focus on caring for others with confidence — knowing they have a dedicated team supporting their financial goals.

Bobby earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Quinnipiac University and has held Life and Health Insurance licenses and FINRA Series 6 and 63 registrations for more than 30 years. He is also a two-time Signature Circle recipient from his time as a licensed manager in KeyBank’s East Haven office. Based in Connecticut, Bobby enjoys golfing, playing bocce and cornhole, and cheering on the New York Giants and Knicks. He is also a longtime dog owner and has a Lhasa Apso, named Mikey.

Daniel Frey is a Doctor Relationship Banker for Key for Doctors with more than 13 years experience in the financial services industry, including 11 years with KeyBank. He is passionate about building long-term relationships with healthcare professionals and helping guide them through every stage of their careers, from training and practice growth through retirement planning. Daniel is known for his client-focused approach and commitment to helping doctors understand and address their financial needs with clarity and peace of mind.

Daniel earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Southern Connecticut State University and holds FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses. Based in Connecticut, he enjoys playing golf, following sports, and spending time with his two sons and daughter.

Melanie Gonzales is an Associate Doctor Banker for Key for Doctors. She is passionate about helping healthcare professionals achieve their financial goals through trusted guidance and exceptional service. Before joining KeyBank in 2026, Melanie spent five years working in Yale University’s psychiatry and oncology departments, giving her a unique understanding of the healthcare field and the demands faced by medical professionals. She is committed to making every client interaction positive, productive, and focused on helping doctors reach their goals.

Melanie earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Neuroscience from Trinity College and has completed several healthcare-related certifications as part of her research at Yale. Based in Connecticut, she enjoys reading, writing, running, karaoke, traveling, trying new foods, and spending time with family, friends, and her cats.

Courtney Jinjika is the National Healthcare and Student Lending Sales Team Lead for Key for Doctors. Since joining KeyBank over 25 years ago as bank teller, Courtney has held numerous roles across Key including Personal Banker, Licensed Banker, Licensed Branch Manager, Area Retail Leader, and Regional Retail Leader, and Territory Executive. She is a master client and business problem solver and is dedicated to serving our doctor clients – from helping them finance their education to building a family legacy.

Building on her banking industry experience, since 2020 she earned both a Bachelor of Science Business Administration in Business Management and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Courtney is based in Connecticut, where you’ll find her spending time with her family, husband, and sons, enjoying baseball or skiing, crafting, or taking on new challenges.
